Review of Te Ture Whenua Act 1993
Introduction
At the beginning of April this year the Associate Minister of Māori Affairs released the
Review Panel’s report into Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993.
For example, one ahu whenua trust has over 8,000 beneficial owners for an area of land less than 200 hectares with income of less than $10,000.00 per annum.
