Importantly, it also tells the story of the modern Māori Land Court, who we are, what we do, and what motivates us to provide a high level of service to Māori landowners.
This is also a return to the Court and Tribunal for Judge Milner, who worked early in his career as a Research Counsel for the Māori Land Court and as an Assistant Registrar for the Waitangi Tribunal.
This working list is comprised of successors to the 50 original beneficiaries who were allocated land
between Lakes Hāwea and Wānaka (‘The Neck’) under the ‘SILNA’ scheme.
