Te Kooti Whenua Māori – Māori Land Court
Being a registered user means you can:

• Pay filing fees
• Submit enquiries
• Receive notifications on your applications and enquiries from the court...
You will also need to be clear what the plan is for building on
the land, including who the housing is for.

The Honourable Willie Jackson, Minister for Māori Development made a formal announcement on 22 March 2023: New appointment to Māori Land Court bench | Beehive.govt.nz My congratulations, and congratulations on behalf of the Māori Land Court, to Judge Thomas.
She was also appointed as an Alternate Environment Court Judge in 2009. Chief Judge Fox was appointed as the Deputy Chief Judge of the Māori Land Court in 2010, and as the Chief Judge of the Court in 2023.
So, this is a general acknowledgement to everyone that has assisted with preparations in order for this day to come to fruition, those from within my own hapū and iwi, my friends and colleagues, and those that helped from within the Court - especially to Amiria, descendant of the Whanganui River - my acknowledgements and thanks to you all.
