No court sitting is required. To apply for a lease of more than 52 years (a long-term lease), you’ll need to complete a General Form of Application, and include evidence that at least half of the owners or people who own 50% of the land or 50% of the shares (if the land is vested in an incorporation) have approved the long-term lease.
