Trustees can be appointed to manage interests or property until the person is of legal age (20 years), out of prison, capable of managing their own affairs, or they pass away.
Trust Order: A Court order setting out the terms under which trustees hold and
manage land or other assets vested in them by the owners of the land or assets.
MĀORI INCORPORATION
A legal entity that is established under Part 13 Te Ture
Whenua Māori Act 1993 or equivalent earlier legislation,
and still exists. An Incorporation is managed by a
Committee of Management (rather than by trustees).

Search by Management Structure
You can use the management structure search option if you know either the organisation name, organisation ID,
organisation type, district, file reference, state or a combination of the options.
Māori trustees and committee of management members are responsible for caring for and managing whenua on behalf of landowners (beneficial owners and beneficiaries).
Steve has held multiple roles within the Court, including as a case manager, team leader, district manager, Principal Liaison Officer and Service Manager, before being appointed as the Chief Registrar of the Māori Land Court in February 2021.
