The Māori Land Court is New Zealand’s oldest and longest established specialist court.
Our role as Te Kooti Whenua Māori is to facilitate and promote the retention and use of Māori land, and support whānau to occupy, develop and use their whenua.
The Māori Land Court moved to a new database, Pātaka Whenua, in late May 2023 replacing the Māori Land Information System (MLIS).
