Since the passing of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, our role is to:
promote the retention of Māori land in the hands of its owners, whānau and hapū
facilitate the occupation, development and use of Māori land
ensure that decisions made about Māori land are fair and balanced taking into account the needs of all the owners and their beneficiaries.
(4) This form should be lodged with an application for confirmation of alienation on Form 25 or an application for vesting order on Form 30.
MĀORI LAND COURT CONTACT DETAILS
This application may be lodged with the Registrar at any office of the Māori Land Court.
Where an owner has a life interest or is a joint tenant in Māori Land you can use this form to transfer those interests
to the beneficiaries (remainderman) or the other party to a joint tenancy where the life/joint tenant has passed away,
wishes to surrender their interests or the life tenant has remarried or entered into a civil union or de facto relationship.
