If an owner with MāoriLand interests is deceased, and a succession has not previously been dealt with by the Court or a
Registrar, you can use this form to seek a determination from the Court as to those persons entitled to a deceased’s
MāoriLand interests and an order transferring the interests to those entitled.
An ahu whenua trust:
holds the trustees legally responsible for the management of the land, and
uses a MāoriLandCourt-approved trust order, which sets out the rights and responsibilities of the trustees and beneficial owners.

the estate have been granted by High Court, or is to be obtained, you can use this form to seek a determination from

Judge Wilson Isaac was appointed to the MāoriLandCourt on 11 March 1994, was appointed as Deputy Chief Judge of the MāoriLandCourt in 1999 and the Chief Judge of the MāoriLandCourt, and Chair of the Waitangi Tribunal on 13 August 2009.
