Claire joined the Ministry of Justice in 2014 as a Collections Manager covering the Manawatu and Whanganui regions. Prior to joining the Ministry of Justice she held a number of leadership and management positions with Careers New Zealand, covering similar regions and including Taranaki.

Training programmes are currently run out of some Court district offices, although there is no overall consistency in the training offered, and the programmes vary in each region, which means that training is not available to all trustees, and where it is available, it may not be comprehensive.
Its Council is comprised of organisational membership from more than 30 countries of the Asia Pacific region and beyond, with individual members in more than 50 countries throughout the world.
