While in practice she specialised in resolving Māori legal issues, acting for clients across a range of issues in both general practice and litigation.
Further succession applications were brought in relation to my great-grandmother and grandparents. I also filed two section 45 applications in relation to those succession applications which were made in the 1970s.
The former Chief Judge, Judge Isaac, retired from his role on 30 April, and accordingly Deputy Chief Judge Fox and Deputy Chairperson Judge Reeves have taken up the roles of Acting Chief Judge and Acting Chairperson respectively.

Prior to her appointment to the bench, Chief Judge Fox was a Lecturer in law at Victoria University and a Senior Lecturer in law and Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Waikato. She also acted as legal counsel for Treaty claimants and Māori land clients.
