The session on the independence of the judiciary and the rule of law was also very informative. Although I didn’t realise it at the time, being true to who I was, and who I am, has been the single most important influence in my working life to date. There is, I think, a lesson in that. Māori Land Court Judges The Māori Land Court bench at present is made up of thirteen judges.
