Māori Land Court Retention and Disposal Sc...
These provisions (Section 20 Trusts
Act 2019) override the Age of Majority
Act 1970 so a person over 18 can be a
trustee.
MINUTE BOOK
The written record of all proceedings of the Māori
Land Court.
The Court
recorded its evidence and judgments in large
leather-bound folio books, the ‘Minute Books’,
which today form a vast record of the Court’s
proceedings.
It offers a quick-reference guide, but
is not a binding statement of law.
Historically, the Māori Land Court Bench
Book, like all Court bench books, was accessible
only to Judges and Chambers staff via Te Pā, the
judicial intranet.
