Changes in place from 6 February 2021 In August 2020, the Government passed targeted changes to the Act with Te Ture Whenua Māori (Succession, Dispute Resolution, and Related Matters) Amendment Act 2020.
The list was amended on 18 August 2022, minute book 78 Te Waipounamu MB 158-162.
Chief Judge Fox was appointed as the Deputy Chief Judge of the Māori Land Court in 2010, and as the Chief Judge of the Court in 2023. On 24 August 2023, her swearing-in ceremony was held at The Pā, University of Waikato.
