The purpose of the National Pänui / Te Pänui ä Motu is
to provide notice to interested parties of hearings being
conducted in, and applications received by, the Mäori Land
Court.

The period covered has been one of change for the Court, with the introduction of the new Pātaka Whenua system to support Court kaimahi, judges and landowners.
That is perhaps a good place to end my expressions of gratitude to my family and the part of this kōrero that had the potential of making me cry, but alas it shall not be.
