Māori Land Court Judgment Delivery
A guide to the process by which parties to proceedings before the court may obtain information about the status of any reserved decision, and for information relating to outstanding judgments.
To assist the Court toprocess and deal with these proceedings, attach to your notice of intention to appear
a statement setting out your response to each of the claims made by the applicant.

The Treaty provides that in exchange for the grant of kawanatanga (governance) to the British Crown, Māori people (the indigenous people of New Zealand) were guaranteed rangatiratanga (autonomy) in relation to their land and other precious resources, as well as the rights of British citizens.

Once you are ready, make sure to tick the box to agree to the terms and conditions, then click
“Submit” to send your enquiry to the Māori Land Court.
It could say either “Initiated”, “PROCESSING”, or “Completed” – keep
pressing the “Refresh” button until the “Status” says “Completed”
