To terminate a trust, you will need support from majority of the beneficiaries. In your application you’ll need to provide:
written consents of the trustees
written consents of the beneficiaries
evidence of a properly notified meeting(s) held to terminate the trust, and
a schedule ofland to be removed from the trust and to who those shares will be transferred

quorum, the meeting may not proceed.
Māori Land Court
3.21 The trustees must advise the Māori Land Court of the names of the trustees elected at any general meeting.
3.22 The election of trustees is subject to confirmation by the Māori Land Court.
