able to make this application online via the Māori Land
Court website. Check our website to see whether online
applications are available at the time you make your
application.
There are two ways to apply:
Completed applications can be sent by courier or post,

Accessing Pātaka Whenua
Step 1
In your web browser, visit the Māori Land Court website www.māorilandcourt.govt.nz and click
the green tab in the top right area labelled “Pātaka Whenua – our online portal”.
