Step 1
In your web browser, visit the Māori Land Court website www.māorilandcourt.govt.nz and click
the green tab in the top right area labelled“Pātaka Whenua – our online portal”.
The court order
The court order is the document that confirms the legal change made to the ownership and/or status of the whenua. The court order also informs the information we provide to Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) to ensure the changes in legal ownership are updated in their database.
The judgment concerns an application made by Donna Pokere Phillips and the late James Phillips and involves whenua at Ōuri 1A3, and specifically the Whare on that whenua.
