Land interests remained in the name of my grandfather and my great-grandmother.
He shared some brief memories on behalf of his Aunty Pat living in Collingwood, the “many happy times playing on the point, known to us as Whopping Point. The only vegetation I can remember on this land were fir trees which extended to the end of the land and the tennis court near the extension of the main road.”
