Māori trustee
The Māori trustee administers many Māori land blocks and
distributes money to the owners.
An easement order can be registered by the court
free of charge with LINZ.
TRUSTEES
Where land is vested in trustees and the trust order21 allows,
trustees may negotiate the terms of an easement with the
interested parties.
Signed consents are attached of:
the retiring or resigning trustees; and/or
the proposed trustees.

A whānau trust was formed at that stage with myself and two cousins being appointed as trustees. Initial lands vested into the whānau trust came from the uncle who had been appointed as the whānau administrator in 1967.
