Ngā Kaiwhakapūmau i te Reo Māori was one of those collectives who presented the Māori language petition to Parliament, voicing their aspiration to see the Māori language being taught in all schools throughout New Zealand, voicing their belief that the Māori language is an unfailing spring of water, and that it will be the Māori language that ensures the survival of the Māori nation.
