This direction is issued pursuant to rule 3.8(1)(b) Māori Land Court Rules 2011 and a

Waikato Maniapoto District Registry of the Court.
The rapid pace of Treaty settlements has created challenges for the Tribunal, and the number of the applications in the Māori Land Court continues to rise as well. Just before I wind up, I want to make a few brief comments about the Court and the Tribunal.
Chief Judge Caren Fox and Pae Matua Steve Gunson are pleased to release the second Māori Land Court and Māori Appellate Court Annual Report, covering the period from Matariki 2023 – Matariki 2024.
