This schedule does not include applications that have been set down for hearing, are before the
Court for determination, have been determined by the Court and/or are awaiting release of any
decision, determination or order of the Court.
(f) The mediation (regardless of whether the mediator is appointed by the parties
or the Court) will be held in accordance with the Māori Land Court mediation
process, rules and/or protocols as set out in Part 3A of the Act and by any
specific rules of the Māori Land Court for conducting mediations.

Any member of the preferred classes of alienees who wishes to be considered by the
owners as a prospective purchaser of the land must give written notice of their intention
to pursue a right of first refusal at the hearing of the application. That written notice must
be filed in the Māori Land Court not later than 18 February 2026
If no notice is filed by the date set out above, the Court may confirm the alienation of the
land by way of sale.
