Māori Land Court fees are increasing from 1 July 2025.

From 1 July 2025, Māori Land Court fees increase by 3.65%. This increase is part of a wider change across all courts and tribunals in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
What does this mean for you?
If you file an application to the Māori Land Court or the Māori Appellate Court on or after 1 July 2025, you will notice an increase in the fee you need to pay.
For example:
- Our $22 fee will increase to $23
- Our $66 fee will increase to $68
- Our $220 fee will increase to $228
- Our $385 fee will increase to $399
