CHECKLIST OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
• Notice of application to trustee of proposed removal
• Minutes of meeting consenting to proposed removal of trustee
• Key documents supporting reason for proposed removal (ie, evidence of a conviction or an example of reputational
harm caused)

This applications should be lodged with the Registrar in the District in which some or all of land is located.
Currently, the Māori Trustee administers as trustee or agent approximately 1,800 Māori Land Trusts and other Māori entities. This is about one third of all Māori Land Trusts.
